About the Club

The Oxford Sailing Club (OSC)

Is a social club for sailing enthusiasts.

The Club meets at Pittock Park, located just north of Woodstock ON, in a park managed by the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority.

Members enjoy the the use of spacious ground and a club house equipped with kitchen, meeting area and washrooms.

OSC members sail Pittock Lake, A man made lake created by damming the Thames river. Slips and on land boat parking are available to members. (no off season storage available, sorry) The lake is a great place for day sailing from 17 foot siren's to Catamarans and lasers.

Monthly the club meets for social events like Pot Luck Dinners and special occasions like Canada Day. Special events include a Corn Boil and Commodores Feast (purchase meals).

The Club is a shared responsibility club, Members are encourage to enjoy the grounds and amenities and asked to take equal responsibility in the upkeep of the grounds, the maintenance of the amenities and to ensure that all members can enjoy the club together.

Each season opens and closes with a work day that all members are encourage to participate in.
